Safety Information (Hazardous Substances Classification):

This product is classified as a hazardous substance under the New Zealand Hazardous Substances
and New Organisms (HSNO) Act.
Hazard Classifications:
• Highly flammable aerosol (Category 1)
• Causes skin irritation (Category 2)
• May cause drowsiness or dizziness (Specific Target Organ Toxicity – Single Exposure,
Category 3)

Safe Handling Precautions:
• Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces. No smoking.
• Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition sources.
• Do not pierce or burn the can, even after use.
• Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• Avoid breathing spray mist or vapours.
• Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye/face protection when using.
• Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling.
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and temperatures
exceeding 30°C.
• Keep out of reach of children.

First Aid Information:
• Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, seek medical attention.
• Skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
• Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if
present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• If medical advice is needed, call the NZ Poisons Centre on 0800 764 766 (0800
POISON).
